A Cover Letter Sample With Bullet Points for a Support Position

Thought bullet points were only for resume formatting? Not at all. Bullet points are great for cover letters, too. They can do wonders when you have a lot to say but don't want your reader to be turned off by dense text.

Take a look at Ann's letter for a support position in a nonprofit. Then scroll down to see how her revised cover letter sample with bullet points has just a little more zing.

Revised Cover Letter Sample with Bullet Points

The opening of any cover letter is key, and I like the first two sentences of Mary's letter. But the next few sentences made the paragraph too dense and, quite frankly, a little boring. So I reformatted it using bullet points with a short intro.

Here's my version of the same cover letter sample with bullet points inserted.
